Some Extinct Volcanoes which I Saw on My Way from Semarang to Jakarta

For the past few weeks I was pretty much occupied with piles of work at office. The only thing that can get me out of stress is the thought that I’m traveling again very soon (fortunately a couple of months ago I made the right decision to book some flights for this December and January 2012). So, within a week I will have a short trip to one of Indonesia’s most iconic landscapes: Bromo-Tengger-Semeru National Park. Living in a country which lies on the ‘ring of fire’, I myself haven’t explored much of Indonesia’s active volcanoes. Then, in late December I will be traveling again, so will I next January. I smell holiday in the air!

Speaking of my January plan, I am glad that today I have made some bookings and reservations for the hostel/hotel where I will be staying during my trip next month. I will not reveal the itinerary yet, though. I just hope that everything runs well and accordingly.

I’d also like to share a video (a TV commercial to be precise) showing some of Indonesia’s beautiful corners which I haven’t had the chance to visit but would very much go one day. Note that I don’t have any affiliation whatsoever  nor receive any money from the company who owns the advertisement.

Based in Jakarta, always curious about the world, always fascinated by ancient temples, easily pleased by food.
